All the way to the Atlantic Ocean. Philadelphia is a huge port and ship building location. Maersk builds ships there.

That's awesome! They must have their facility on the river - what a perfect location for Ship building, protected, deep water, close to skilled labour - ideal! I will have to check out their location - always interested in maritime stuff :)

I wonder how big they would be in 6 weeks

:gig:gig:gig:gig
They would be flying at your head looking for a place to roost!

Not to detract from the great Port of Philadelphia (which truly is a huge port), but it is not actually on the Atlantic Ocean. Pennsylvania has many miles of coast line but it is all along the Delaware Estuary or Lake Eerie.
There is a very small state called New Jersey between Pennsylvania and the Atlantic Ocean.

I love this picture. She looks like a mysterious, exotic lady here. If she ever thinks of acting or modeling, this photo should be in her portfolio 🥰🥰
Another chicken celebrity! I like that! The first I know of is Matilda (aka the creepiest chicken I've ever seen), who lived up to 16 years old. She died in 2006. Her birthday is unknown, other than being born in 1990 but she died on February 11, 2006

She's even a dancer.

I am off to go to Peavey Mart today to check out Brooder plates for my trip home.

I have been checking online at the 2 hatcheries I plan on stopping in at - but seems to be that they are sold out of the chicks I want :( I sure hope I can get the ones I want.

The Silver Spangle Hamburgs I just can't seem to get at all, and the Legbar and Welbar are always sold out. And don't even start on the Russian Pavalovskaya chicks - I am taking a huge risk with them as they are sold straight-run. Likely get all roosters with them hahahah my luck!
The Russian ones well, .., that doesn’t matter if they are cockerels or pullets. The Russian women look like the men anyways! :old

Alex, you racist pig 🐖! :duc
