I have about 15 eggs in the incubator 3 ancona the rest easter eggers (olive eggers)

I am proud of myself. It is almost the middle of February. My incubator has sat empty in the closet to this point. It is also not from the lack of eggs either. While playing cards last night when asked how many eggs I had I casually made the comment that I had almost 6 dozen. I then followed it up by saying that the oldest eggs were 5 days old, stored properly and rotated. If I wanted I could fill up every hole in my egg turner and still have eggs left to sell. Thanks to Momma Hens hooligans and the Marshmallows I did not have that instant urge to run and fill it up.

Nice self control!! If I had a choice of when I can incubate eggs and how many chickens I can have, my incubator would be full, and I would have over a hundred chickens... thank gosh my parents won't let me!!

What kind of eggs/chicks are you planning on incubating?

I'm planning on just incubating my at home eggs. So Pastel will be the father, and then Bolt, BBQ, and Splotch will be the mommas. I'm not planning on any pure bred chicks. My instructor has done so much, so I'm just giving them to her.
