Hmmm, remember that Phyllis carries her clutch? And @BY Bob had the case of the moving eggs?

A determined hen CAN move eggs. I caught one red handed winged with one tucked up by the armpit...trying to steal it and put it in HER nest box. Unfortunately, she dropped it on the nest box lip and it broke. :(

OK so I have been know to be very gullible, so you need to tell me if that was actually true or not :)

I believed our Env. Inspector when I asked where the Bison were hiding I hadn't seen them in a bit... he told he someone poached them and I believed him - the brat! (not to worry my boss and I got him good this week with a practical joke :) )

He is beautiful, looks like he may well have some Egyptian bloodlines in there ❤️
They are all straight Egyptian, Blue List, Al Khamsa :) Best breeding you can get.

Last year there were less than 12 Arabian foals registered here in Canada. At one point there were 25,000! :(

I am really liking the Bielefelder (and not only because they are auto-sexing), they are a dual purpose bird and in the future if I decide to get a Roo then I will get my BIL to send the cockerels for freezer camp.
I’m just trying to picture Mr P and a Bielefelder hen’s chick, hatching out under one of those little fluffy broody girls, and being twice their “mom’s” size within 6 weeks! 😆

Good Night all!

Just checked the barn cam again and it seems that everyone wanted to be on the roost tonight (except Henny and Marty - smart!). Anyways I count 13 so all is good!

Oh you will get to see exactly this (hopefully one of those gals is broody!) when I get home and shove 5 of them under Fluffy - and lets now forget about those Brahmas

:lau

I am going to shove them all under Marty - that should be good for laughs!
