Be careful of your headlines. “I lost Phyllis tonight” scared me. My blood pressure jumped up higher than RC’s roosts!

Ive been looking into the Brahmas due to your future chicks. Love everything about them, they have been added to my someday list for sure! Bielefelders are stunning ❤️
I love my mutts - they are hardy and hopefully live a long time, but I just loved the feather patterns on many of these chickens out there. So the Brahmas it is, and of course the Beilefelders are a barred pattern so what's not to love! At orange tabby chicken :)

What does everyone think on this chick. If I have a 2nd male in Momma hens group it is this one.

They turned 5 weeks old on Saturday. It's brother was obviously a boy at 2 1/2 weeks. He already also has twice as big of a comb then this one. I just cannot make up my mind yet. One day it is a pullet, the next day I think maybe late developing male.

So, I am going to be just as on the fence as you.....s/he's comb is far larger than the pullet's in the second pic....but far smaller than the clear cockerel's. It could be an early developing pullet, or a late developing cockerel. I have seen both with mixed groups of chicks. Especially the latter when there is a clearly dominant cockerel - the others() tend to develop a bit more slowly, especially in a small group (versus a group of 30 chicks)
