I have a chicken question. I have a 5 foot fence but theres dogs on the other side. The chooks can see them if they were out. I have no foxes just have to watch for hawks. Can the chickens get over the fence or will they?

Thats what Im afraid of. That they would. But they would have a lot more room because I have a huge back yard. They would be smart to stay on your side of the fence
My chooks will stay in the 4ft enclosed fenced area. They will play around the area but not hop over the fenceThats what Im afraid of. That they would. But they would have a lot more room because I have a huge back yard.

Fingers crossed that your magnolia tree will shine again this year.Oh No!
Those of you that have been here a year know how devastated I was when a late freeze wiped out my magnolia tree blossoms last March. Here is what our February weather has been like at times this year.

It is about to snow a little today, not freeze mind you so that's good.

That’s exactly why they would hop the fence. My chicken’s literally go into roads and start scratching. You would think they would find more bugs in grass not concrete anyway. They would be smart to stay on your side of the fence
Do you have a poultry education center near you? They seem to need an education ASAPThat’s exactly why they would hop the fence. My chicken’s literally go into roads and start scratching. You would think they would find more bugs in concrete anyway.
(Meant to say in grass not concrete)Do you have a poultry education center near you? They seem to need an education ASAP
