Fluffy Butt Acres: Stories of our flock

Sorry for my long absence... I have been super busy the past week. Yes, I am on here during school... I signed onto my account on my school computer.... All of my birds are okay, Willow is part of the flock, although she is clearly at the bottom of the pecking order... BBQ went back out with the flock last Thursday, and she is fine. Bolt is cute as ever, Splotch is bullying everyone as usual, Pastel has an attitude, and all of my guineas are loud.... Oh, also, we have a HUGE Yellow Rat Snake is our chicken coop eating eggs.... I'm gonna try and get him out and release him later today.

So, things are pretty normal there then?

I am back home and it is Friday! There are eggs in the nest box and Babs has a very fluffy butt.

Sorry to laugh, but I am happy it is not just me who gets confused by chicken naming conventions!

Yes and I agree with your assessment on them as 'an affirmative on being a chicken'.

That's about were I am at (other than with a Silkie hahaha).

WOW those are gorgeous eggs! The blues are beautiful but those dark brown ones are lovely! Are those Bernie's?

Wow that's brave of you! We don't get snakes in the barn, outside yes, inside nope!

Sounds like your chickies are doing well. Have you put any eggs in the incubator yet? I haven't had time to go and check!

The eggs are in the incubator, but at my horse barn. I will update you on the thread in just a little!!
