Well, I think this evening I am going to hopefully switch to plan Bunny. I have left gooses eggs alone, left her alone and it has not clicked and she is still only semi broody. As of last night there were 8 eggs in her nest. Bunny is full on broody. I do have a problem, she has chosen the main top of the hay. That unfortunately does not work for me pretty girl. I am going to go out there later and fix up a spot where I want her to sit and move Gooses eggs to it. Bunny currently has no eggs to sit on. I hope she will see those eggs and accept them and the new spot. Cross your fingers everyone. I have never tried to switch up a nest spot before, but, if Bunny wants chicks, she will have to accept it.

Duh...like most US citizens I forget the whole world isn't in this country! I actually do try to remember that. 😅
You’re all forgiven for your nataionality… as long as you don’t try to pass off that red tail Hawk scream as an Eagle! 😂❤️ 🇺🇸 but yes, there’s not too many of us international peeps here. I was shocked to find when I came back that you had adopted another Canadian, too. And a Newfie at that! 😉

Here in Ontario one is not allowed to harass, capture or kill birds of any sort, unless its for hunting season (ducks, geese, turkey... etc). The Migratory Bird Act prevents this. BUT the farmers seem to have a hate on for the Turkey Vultures thinking they kill calves and lambs (sometimes stupid people really irritate me! vultures clean up carrion!).
Same here, except if they are damaging/harassing livestock, or are the invasive Eastern Barred Owl which is wreaking havoc on the local endangered owl species. As for idiots who don’t understand the difference between Vultures and predators… you can’t fix stupid. It’s sunny today, hopefully I can get some tax photos for all my morning rants.

My hubby is like "no more animals!!" lol Now I have 15 eggs in the incubator 24 chickens and 5 dogs. I want a goat! lol
I hear the phrase “no more goats!” Pretty often too! 😂 after yesterdays antics I agree. I’m now looking at Arduinna belly closely and trying to rule out that as a possibility. She’s just chubby this time right?

It did the white stuff falling from the sky yesterday… but I got a whole lot of chicken things done before it hit, and it has all thankfully melted. I missed Caturday completely here but FB brought this up as a memory yesterday so. Whisper and Charlie, back in our house in the city.

Well, the weather hasn't been too cooperative these past few months. It is probably lack of exercise! 😉😉

She is getting big - I didn't think she was old enough to be 'bout as big as the 'big girls'!!! That said, unless it just wasn't showing in these photos, it didn't look like she has as much red in the hackles as the older girls (yes, I know they don't have a full-on red cape...but they do have a very nice ' red fur collar') :love:love
