Same here, except if they are damaging/harassing livestock, or are the invasive Eastern Barred Owl which is wreaking havoc on the local endangered owl species. As for idiots who don’t understand the difference between Vultures and predators… you can’t fix stupid. It’s sunny today, hopefully I can get some tax photos for all my morning rants.

Brilliant way to say that. “You can’t fix stupid!” That’s my motto for a lot of people here.

Omg I have to tell you guys this. Me and hubby were watching tv this morning and we heard this weird scream. I was like what was that, and my hubby didnt know either but it was coming from the chicks. The rooster was on top of the crate being a rooster and trying to cock-a-doodle-dooing. It was funny and cute. He was born 2/3 and is already trying to crow. lol

Went out to the garage for ice cream (freezers are out there). Came back out to a ruckus from ALL the boys. Looked up....floating in the wind just above the roof of the house, a raven. The mate was swooping down the pasture below. The boys all alerted LOUDLY. Good boys, all of you. Need to get the sardines out when finished with the ice cream.

New thing for you chicken people and nesting boxes. We took a yoga mat and cut it up and put it in the nesting boxes. The hens love it because its soft and easy to clean.

I can see that, but if you knew her mother you would not think that. Miss attitude half the time walks around with her hackles half flared. This has allowed me to peg miss Grumpy Gryffon as her mother. She is the bigger of the 2 cochin girls and still likes to try to take a chunk out of me when I pet her.
