Are you sure that is even a 'poop'??? There are no real white urates, nor any fecal matter. SO whatever it is, I'm hoping it is a 'sloughing off' of something, not an issue.:fl:fl:fl:fl

But darned if I have any real idea!
:he
The poop before was more normal with some of that white/yellow stuff on the top.
And the poops since have been just clear liquid.
The others are pooping just fine. And apart from drinking more than usual Eli is behaving normally. The reason I managed to grab her is because she though I had sunflower seeds in my pocket.

Oh her lacing is GORGEOUS in that pic.

I definitely notice your posts. I don’t always reply. But I don’t put a reaction on every post like some people do, so if you get a reaction from me that is a “reply” of sorts from me.

We had record highs today in the mid-80s. Way too soon for that. I hope we aren’t in for another record-setting hot/dry summer.

My great-grandmother lied about her age for so long that even her driver’s license had the wrong year for her birthdate. It wasn’t until she passed away and my grandmother found her birth certificate that we discovered she was about 6 years older than we thought (can’t remember the exact amount).

I keep getting Babs and Eli mixed up  but this pic does an awesome job of catching the green sheen on the feathers of whichever one that is.
How is your leg? hopefully it's getting better. And hope you are able to get more chicken time!

I also have silkies in the incubator right now. Today is the 5th day. Wonder is it’s Possible our chicks will have the same hatchday.
Oh that's lovely - can't wait to see what hatches!

I think my little one may have got upset when I examined her after she went to bed last night ,I looked this up, upsets can be the cause of tiny eggs sometimes with no yoke at all

She and Princess had egg this morning and I'm hoping this helps Tina. She's running around in between the rain fall so she seems happy this morning. Plus I think she's not laying much anymore but as long as she's not ill I don't care, my wish is for her to enjoy her life!
They both look splendid and they are certainly thriving! You are doing a wonderful job with them :)

This just helped me to realize how few photos you have been posting. It is unfair that you are hiding these beauties. Get with it! We need more photos.
Agreed! I love their feather patterns very pretty!

I think Lavender Orpingtons also lay pinkish tint eggs but also lay light brown eggs.

Congrats to @knoturavggrl for the POW. Brownie and Oreo are just gorgeous.
Good morning GtC - how have you been? How are your chickies and your kitties?

Very cute but if I am not mistaken, not a chicken!
Bawk Bawk But she is soooo cute!

Oh she should have saved them for Pony Sunday!!! What a beauty! Love the patches.

My gosh. I've never seen that before. Hopefully some else has.

I always want to see more than 1 weird poop before I get worried but that's new to me.
Yes - my thoughts also - if there are more than one I would be worried. But it sure is an odd looking poop!

release the HORDE!

That was awesome - loved them streaming out the door haha! And Thing is such a lovely hen, where those real of fake eggs she was sitting on ?

I now have 4 abnormal poops.
One before the photo one which was normal with white creamy stuff on top.
The monstrosity I posted.
And now two totally liquid ones.
She is drinking a lot. Everyone is because of the lovely wild water from melting snow but maybe her more than the others.
Could be she is dehydrated from producing icky liquid poos or a sign of something going on.
I hate that she sleeps 11’ up in the air so I can’t really feel her crop first thing. But she is absolutely not behaving like an I’ll chicken so I will chew on my nails anxiously and watch closely.
Hmm - so I have had them produce liquid poops and weird looking poops and not act ill or anything - I just go with the flow now. Keep an eye on them, if they were not eating or huddled in a corner then I would worry.

Sorry, RC, the 'laugh' was for why you could catch her - curious, and smart, and a piglet are all words you have used to describe her.....and you seemed surprised that you were able to catch her???:lau:lau Miss 'I bring the treats' lady?????:lau:lau

The Marshmallows are either now 5 weeks old or 6 weeks old, will have to go back and check on the date I gave them to Chiquita. They are starting to look and maybe to a extent act like leghorns. They are going through what I can only describe as a fear phase at the moment where they get startled easily. Something startles them, and that fight or flight reflex kicks in and they can move fast. I like this, they are becoming more alert and aware of their surroundings. Unfortunately sudden movements from me can trigger this response as well. We all know that term that we are not allowed to refer to them, they are leaning towards that and I am perfectly ok with it. I can see it serving them very well since they are allowed to free range. Their alertness is already almost on a Momma Hen level. When they are out of the coop, it gets triggered and they are gone in a split second and they can also go "UP" if needed not just hide for cover under something. I just went out and took some pictures and videos. I'll put the pictures on this post and then upload the video's for the next one.

They are also finally starting to grow in their combs. I am crossing my fingers that at least one gets a floppy comb, just one.
Oh My Gosh! they are not chicks anymore! They are almost as big as their mama :) I love them - so adorable! Look at those legs!

Now for the video's. I did herd them into the coop for a bit so they could have solo access to the wild bird seed treat I brought out. I did eventually open up the coop and share the rest with the other flock members.
Loved the video of them - looking big, but they still have the baby peeps!:love:love:love

And Branch - what a handsome boy!

Did one of your cochin girls hurt her foo or leg? She was limping, favoring her left foot (the one/girl that looks slightly lighter - but it may have just been the light or camera angle!)
