I have two hens who crow just like a Roo, so why not? They can do all the Roo things and brood chickies

I’m going through hell today. Poor Jaffar is still not feeling right. He’s laying on my chest again. (Like he’s begging to stay alive)

He’s tired let him rest. In a couple hrs offer him more sugar water and also some food

He needs food and rest. I’m keeping him inside for now. I’m in no hurry to expose him to the cold and hen drama yet

Well they aren’t fertile but they can sure try and mate.

Bernadette has a thing about Babs and is ‘mating’ her (or whatever you call that) quite often such that Babs is getting a bit of feather wear and tear just as if I had a rooster in my trube.
