Well they aren’t fertile but they can sure try and mate.

Bernadette has a thing about Babs and is ‘mating’ her (or whatever you call that) quite often such that Babs is getting a bit of feather wear and tear just as if I had a rooster in my trube.

I went over to where I had the horses to drop off the eggs to go in the bator, and had to check out the goats 😊 seems the Nannie’s are very amorous right now and they are jumping the poor billy - he was at a loss as to figure out what to do hahahaha 😆

Didn't know hens tried to mate!
All animals will do this for various reasons, cows, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, rabbits - just a few of the silly animal doing what-ever-it-is that I have seen. Humans aren’t the only ones to ‘run amok’!!
