Old ageGosh I hope you are better soon.![]()
She is such a beautyI have one Brahma and as an adult, she is not a good flier. When she was little, she could fly a bit, but I don't think it was ever her strong suit.

Ya I know that feeling! Wake up, whereās the chickens!!!! ??? Count themā¦.Lovely!
One thing that is very striking with my current Princesses is how different they are from Maggie regarding the sun.
Today was a lovely sunny day and I sat in the chicken field and nodded off.
When Maggie was alive she would have been sprawled out in the sun next to me. I woke up and there were no chickens. Of course I was in a panic - but they were all napping in deep shade. Strange.
Itās entertaining when the silkies try to walk and get blown over in the windIt is windy for sure!
And I don't wash them at all!No seriously. Who uses an egg cleanser!? I jut wash my eggs under running water.
I only wash if they have any poopies on them which is very rare. And I don't wash them at all!
I always knew Maggie was unusually obsessed with sunbathing - but it isn't until I see this lot that I realize how extreme she was.Ya I know that feeling! Wake up, whereās the chickens!!!! ??? Count themā¦.
Maybe they felt safer there from hawks. Or maybe they get too warm.![]()
I am getting some chicks, when they arrive I am going to take alot of pictures and post for everyone to see and how they are doing. it is hard for me to read your story all the time I am busy with things but I love your chickens. That is very sweet of you to say.
