Michelle was able to get her ladies out in some really nice weather to do chicken things; there has been some really horrible weather where she lives.

She was also planning on getting some chicks this Spring, but the person she was to get them from had their flock attacked by a predator; Michelle is looking at some other places if this person is not able to get chicks to her.

Alex's wonderful Roo Jaffar was in a fight with a neighbouring Roo last week, he is on the mend - Alex has been enticing him with steak and shrimp, along with a lot of TLC.

This was also an interesting time with discussion surrounding various pain medications for poultry: Acetaminophen is ok for chickens - Childrens liquid tylenol (160mg/5ml) can be dosed at 0.5ml (contains 16mg of acetaminophen) for a 3lb bird (10mg/kg).
