I think one or the other needs to go sweet-talk @BY Bob 's Hattie. Then...if Phyllis goes broody again, she can hatch little Hatties!! They would be so sweet and adorable!!!! (And @RoyalChick might be willing to take a Hattie pullet or two off your hands later....she couldn't get a hen with a much more glorious fluffy bottom than that - especially since RC likes clean legs!)! ;);)

Well it is true that who could resist little Hatties? I mean seriously that would be adorable. But, but, but..... I think a little Hattie might struggle to keep up with the zippy flying chickens I have now. Even Bernie for all her bulk (note to self I MUST get brave enough to weigh Bernie) uses her long gams to sprint rapidly all around and, I hate to say, she also has a bit of a flying thing going on. Not to the rafters but she is the one that flew over the fence!
