Well, montana has a long border with canada....I suppose it's possible to find some back/farm tracks getting close, then walk up and hand over..... wouldn't be legal, but theoretically possible. Of course, those areas are so barren that actually connecting with someone would be nigh on impossible. Even cell signals don't exist in those areas. GPS iffy, and technology leaves a record. Boats on the Lakes might be more reliable.

You know if he had to go somewhere Twig would also be a good addition. He's gaining more confidence around Bubba and Branch. He is also very alert to what is going on in the air. Hawks are everywhere doing their springtime thing. He always has his eye's on them. If he can handle Holly and her "no one sleeps by me" nonsense and win, he could handle Bernie. He is also almost out of his idiot phase. Not once has he offered to step out of line as far as a person has went. Oh, and did I ever mention he is a Corona son. Now, I did say if he had to go somewhere.

Have to say Twig would be closer, and Bany Cholo isn’t causing Greg trouble with wandering…. Could be a good fit, and just think of those egg colours from pullet babies!

Just before the border, liaise with the person giving you the bird, bit of tape on the beak, bind up the wings so they can’t get flapping, shove under the seat and you’re good to go! Then once past the border, put together that handy bankers box you bought at Staples and had stashed still folded up in the back seat, release the poor wee turnip into the box! You don’t want the box to be already put together so they want to inspect it.

I have given this a lot of thought!

I think the 'if he had to go' is a mute point now. You won't give him up!!!!
