@rural mouse Loved your pictures!!! So Belladonna is fine in Montana's harsh winter with her bare back? I've been wondering since I was worried about our own hen in our super mild winder.

She stuck close to the coop most if the winter. Would go in, wam up, go out for sun close by back and forth.

Does it fruit later? Pink tones look like crabapple, but cherry do too. Closer pic of the bark/leaves would help too.

No fruits from it. It blooms in early spring and the blooms are fleeting they don't last terribly long and then they cover the driveway in pink petals.

Does anyone know what kind of tree this is. I absolutely adore it, its so gorgeous but I am not good at iding trees or plants.

Need a closer up and in focus picture of flowers and trunk. And leaves when it gets them.
From the color it looks like an ornamental prunus of some kind - but it is a bit of a guess as I can’t see the detail.
There is a good app that will identify plants for you (I assume it does trees but am not sure). And an even better one for insects.
The one for bugs is called Picture Insect.
I think the plant one is Plant Net but my phone seems to have eaten it.

This morning I thought I was on page 14158 (that's what my phone said), and I posted the most lovely mug shots ever....

Then RC alerted me to the fact I had posted it to a PM we have for doing the synopsis


So I came in here to my laptop and I can post fine... not sure what the devil is going on with the phone. It worked fine at midnight when I posted last from it hahaha!

I can't even copy photos over to my laptop because I am charging it in the hopes that is the issue (grasping at straws!). Meanwhile I am telling myself that if I had StarLink I wouldn't have this problem teeheehee...

Oh gotta run - someone laid an egg! need to see who it was and date and sign the egg
