One of my friends challenged me to a arm wrestling match. I lost. One of my other friends was quite shocked. I then told him, "I prefer reading books".
Some people don't get that I don't do sports. I only ride my bike for fun.
I prefer chickens and BYC now.
Okay, so I am using my lunch break for this - so will be quick - and will pay the inevitable taxes later tonight at home.

You should be fine with yourself - and be confident in yourself and your interestes.

That said, there are techniques to maximize your efforts when arm wresting. I arm wrestled a LOT in H.S> by HS, I had given up on arm wrestling other girls because I always won...so it was on to boy who were a challenge. I was strong because I 'threw' around' a lot of hay bales and did many other farming chores....BUT...I also consistently beat a number of boys who were definitely stronger in their arms than I was because of technique. Since you like reading, do a bit of reading and video watching on this topic...;practice the techniques with a few family menbers...then be confident if you ever end up armwrestling again.

As a petit female, being strong was a saving grace at times. Anyone who knew me knew I was strong, so NEVER picked a fight with me...even though I wasn't a fighter and probably would have lost.

(I grew up in a very pugnacious time, so there were always lots of fights - usually multiple daily in school - so this is a big thing that I neve got 'roped into' a fight because, as one large bully said to me once "I could probably whip your butt, but I also know I would know I tangled with someone! - She didn't want to go home bruised and broken! Ha, ha)

I tried to get a photo of Josey drinking water. She wanted her privacy though.
(She did unintentionally show off her tail).

She is still lovely, even if she is shy :)

So, while I can't tell for sure, it does indeed look like she is an Exchequer leghorn. The primary differences (which are NOT percentage of white versus black, as leghorns get much more white as they age - called 'going grey'. If I remember correctly, Jubilee Orpingtons do this too...they get more spangled with each molt)

So, here are the primary 2 identifiable differences:
1) EL had rounder 'blobs' of white on black feathers, Ancona have V shaped white tips on black feathers
2) Most Ancona have yellow legs with some black spots on them ( a few As don't, but it is the minority) EL have yellow legs, no black spots.

She's also the alpha hen. Says I have to do her bidding. I usually just scoop her up. She likes me when I bring her a worm.

I have had the worst day. My 13 year old dog that I have literally known the day my parents brought me home. Just died. I got picked up early from school, and I knew right when my name was called on the speaker. I am either gonna be on here constantly to try and forget, or I am not going to be here for a while. I will probably be on here a lot. I never said goodbye, because I didn't know that he was going to pass. It feels like there is a hole in my heart. I hate it when dogs die. I wish they could live forever😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
