As I am away I can only follow my Princesses on the coop cameras and my newly installed nest box doorbell cam.
They are messing with my head.
The ceramic egg gets moved back and forth and I am getting dizzy.
This is the moment Bernie gets it up and over the lip so she can pull it under her. Then someone moved it back to the middle. I think Babs did that. Then Eli tried to move it back to where Bernie put it. But she couldn’t quite manage it so she moved herself to the middle to lay her egg.
I think Bernie and Eli really like the ceramic egg. Maybe they are thinking about cute ceramic babies. I thin Babs hates the thing and ejects it whenever she can.
:idunno

I was going to remove it but everyone seems to be engaging with it one way or another so I think I will leave it be.

This is truly enrichment in my opinion! They are engaging in activities they might do in the wild 😊

It also gets their brains engaged to think things through 💕

Personally I would leave the egg! Maybe put another one in for interest sake.

Well I did. But I can’t see it in camera because it is i. the lower level nest boxes.
I need to figure how to use the second doorbell in those nests. Maybe these ladies are playing three dimensional chess!

I know tomorrow is Pony Sunday, but Rosie celebrated both the first day of spring break and the fact that Russ's abscess is healed playing in the ring so I got a ton of pictures. Here is just a sneak peak with some of my favorites.

These are wonderful. I am so happy for them both. 💕

Parmesan's Foot Update
So today, Parmesan is doing better. Her foot was actually better yesterday. She's still limping but at least she doesn't have to sit all the time. I guess she was very stressed and upset about her foot that now as she is beginning to walk better, she wants to be her devilish self by biting me (she did end up biting me).
Parmesan wants to lie down in the coop.

I think I can walk normally now. I'm going to walk over to the trio over there.

Aww me too. I've got a 32 bit netbook that has a windows xp sticker on it. It runs debian now. I wanted something light to haul around with me, so I got it for $20! I think it must be from 2008.

Just recently, at work, I was given two surface 3's. One's got a busted screen, but that's it. The only issue is that they're old! Just from 2015! I put arch on them and they work fine. The one without a busted screen even works with the stylus, so I've been using it for notes during classes. I gave the other one to my mom, before she dropped $600 on some other laptop.

My main workhorse laptop is a thinkpad yoga from 2012. It also works with a stylus. I've got arch on it too, and it's excellent! I can even play games on it, so I get to goof off at work (what I'm doing now).

For my flock... One of the leghorns just flew over the 48" electric poultry netting I got to keep them contained. I was standing out there with them while I let them out of the run, just to see how it'd work out when they're fully grown. She's 3 weeks old. What's her deal? I can't even tell which one it was, because they all look identical. Once she was over, she desperately wanted back over and couldn't figure it out. I had to go herd her back in. What am I going to do with these gals?
Buttercup flies over my 5’ fence - she flies up on top of the fence then flies down the other side.

But do you think she will repeat in reverse to get back in???!!! Nope I have to rescue her!
