For my flying leghorns, I've decided to just keep them in the run until they're fully grown. When they're large enough to go out in the electric fence, they better learn to fly back over the fence. The funniest part of all of it is the frantic realization of the leghorn when she realizes the flock is inside and she's outside. Girl, you did this to yourself.

I was trying and failing to get everyone in one pic.

This one at least has all my troublemaking leghorns. I really like them!

My little fence flyer was also not quite able to figure how to fly back in. My mystery escapee (too big to fly) wasnt all that interested in going home. She had a day-trek in mind uo the drive. Where the foxes live. Silly chicken.

Hello FBA! Chiming in for a few mugs from today. I think I've caught up with most of what I missed. Thank you so much @knoturavggrl for the synopsis.

Lovely to finally see newfoundland chick's photos, and Rosie back to having fun on Russ. How about you @RebeccaBoyd, do you think your back will allow you to ride ?

I thought Brune was dying just a few days ago, but she proved me wrong for now.

And a quick update on Piou-piou: her wound is finally showing signs of healing and we let her out to free range a bit today for the first time.
Just as @GregnLety , her rooster is too big for her, so we are trying to think of solutions.
