And Jaffar has been pecking at my heels all morning. Little brat!
Found the eyeglasses :clap Why is it, that we always find our lost items in the last place we look? I should have looked there first!

Hi Michelle 💖

Can't wait to see what chicks you get 🤗
Thanks, Kelly! She thinks she has a few Cochins, but she’s been working on Tolbunt frizzle roosters over F4 olive Eggers, and Welsummers. Honestly, I’m not sure exactly what that means, if the roosters are mixed with olive Egger/welsummer mixes, or if she has separate olive egger and welsummer hens. So I’m most likely going to be getting mixed of I don’t know. exactly what. That’s good with me! I hope that means good genetics. Plus, the chicks will never be shipped in the mail and I feel good about how she treats the unwanted males.

Well, can you get some fertile eggs to put under her? she will do all the hard work of incubating and brooding.......???? Just get 1/2 dozen eggs, if shipped, probably only 3 will hatch - which is a good amount, not too much, but they have 'siblings' to grow up with.
Or you can sell the chicks when they get of age so you don’t have too many or extra work.

🤔Hmmm, are you sure they are dumb? 🤔 I mean, really. Loads of worms to themselves, a nice cuddle and warm-up from mom...what's not to like?????:D
Well they hate being dried off, and are happy to get out of mums clutches.

They are older now and when the others run they also run. 😁

Yeah, and I have plenty. Here's Goblin's more handsome brother, Beans. He was such a pretty kitten, everyone assumed he was a she. Poor prettyboy!

Still has fashion model eyes even after an accidental fall in the tub.

They were part of a foster litter I took care of. And then I foster failed right away... Here's all 4 making themselves comfortable on my desk.

I still wonder how those other two kittens made out. They were just as cute, I just couldn't justify having 4 cats. But 14 chickens is fine, ofc. Funny how that works.

When I had another foster litter, the kitten pileup got even more extreme...

Some of my fosters were so outrageously fluffy...

This litter had 4 identical fluffy tabbies. I eventually could tell them apart, but I'm having deja vu with my 4 identical white leghorns...
Awww beauties all of them 🥰

Cats are hilarious, and mine sure rules our house.
