Having babies out with the adults early.....smart babes and they're hardier than ya think. As long as the have access to their warming spot, (and places to escape the bigs) they'll be fine. Watching them learn from the adults is fascinating.

Yes. The issue holding me back was if Eli had a disease that they could catch. They are vaccinated against Marek's so I think that is all I can do - especially as I now won't have any results for a while.

Yes! People say roosters are noisy, well my hens certainly squawk up a storm. And when one starts with the escort/egg song - many join in for a 'rousing chicken chorus'! And people blame the Roos! (Poor guys, they nearly always get the blame - deserved or not!)

When mine start that Bok Bkwok business I start singing “I’m a chicken, I’m a chicken, I’m a chicken and I eat bugs in the diiiirt”

(I feel pretty tune West Side Story).

As someone who grew up in Fish Taco land, yes, they are tacos.

That’s good, because that’s what I made. And the chooks are not interested in fish tacos !

It being Tuesday and all, I have a question…..
besides twofer Tuesday, it’s usually taco Tuesday most places as well.
My question is: are fish tacos considered tacos as well as other types of tacos, tacos. Or is only beef or pork tacos considered tacos to taco Tuesday.?

Tacos are tacos. But today, you have to order 'two-fer tacos. regardless of the preferred filling.
That said, your twofer looks lovely, even it they aren't tacos.

Ya, I bailed on the chickens today and came back to the house, I had a headache past few days so I had a nap to warm up and try to get rid of my headache.

I need to go out and check the new babies and let the kiddos out of their bin. I am sure they want to break free

Its day 20 today!!! Good to know! I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for all 9 to hatch soon
