Oh I hope she is a girl! So adorableNow, some just because they are cute and everyone has chick fever picks. I would be lying if I said I did not have a favorite. There is no need to ask which one either, I have a silkie chick lol.

What does she do when the other girls come in? Does she growl? If it wasn’t for her balance I would say yes broody. Is it possible that Eli is broody?
I mean that wouldn’t have affected her balance but now she is just sitting in the nest box on two ceramic eggs. I don’t know how she got both of them.
I brought her breakfast in bed and her hackles flared and she bit me.
Then she ate the breakfast I offered.
I don’t know how to tell if she is broody or has just retreated to the box because she is feeling unwell.
It’s freezing in my barn and my kiddos were 21 days years- they rarely go under their brooder plate. Only at night when o put them back in their bin for the night. They are fine I am sure.I don’t get this temperature thing at all. My little ones are 18 days old. So just a few days short of three weeks.
According to everything people post they are supposed to be at 84 degrees (F).
The temperature in the Chicken Palace right now is 58F.
How come they aren’t cold. I don’t think they would be so energetic if they were suffering so I am not too worried.
But I am a bit worried!
My cat does that@Ponypoor Philomena just had a go at my eyelashes.
I wonder how Phyllis knew it was not worth flying over.I wonder what is on the other side of the fence?
Phyllis says its not worth flying over.

I haven’t seen what happens when the others come near her in the nest boxes. What does she do when the other girls come in? Does she growl? If it wasn’t for her balance I would say yes broody.
