How old are they now? Neck/head injury? Poor little thing. Was he dodging away from your hand before this started or is that new with his posture change? If it's new, neck or head injury and he's hurting enough to not want touch? Does he shy away if you turn your hand over (so is palm up) and slide it under him to lift from there?

Sorry just saw I was tagged in this. I see she is young. How hot is it where you are now? I see this sometimes in the summer when it is hot and humid. In the mornings when it is cooler their combs will be bright red, by afternoon they start to get this darker color. A couple hours after dark when it has cooled off their combs are back to normal.

This is how hot it is over here. Pretty hot if I had to say.
I did not know chickens did that with their combs.

These leaves are a big hit

I don't know what this vegetable is, it has big green leaves and a lot of white flies are attracted to it. I've given all the leaves to the girls and they are loving it.

My hip/pelvic area is in immense pain since yesterday. I picked up a heavy bag and I'm not mobile at all. So these leaves came at the right time to entertain my girls

He dodges away they are a couplle months old he didnt start that wway so nerves or head injury. He doesnt like to be touched but he didnt mind in the beginning so maybe it does hurt. What should I do for him. Besides pain meds
