Is she a Lavender or splash Marans? Either one will be a gorgeous bird.

I will have my Pony Sunday contribution later tonight. The first horse show of the season starts at 2 today. It was supposed to be last night but it got rained out. Rosie is showing Russ, but is only planning on entering 2 classes this time. She is entering "go as you please" and she is determined for redemption as she calls it in "Doubles." I'm not pushing her for the country pleasure classes this time around. I know she is nervous after last years accident. There is a 2 day show for Memorial Day next weekend and I have a feeling she will be entering everything she can next weekend. Friday was her last day of school, her teachers were all teasing her as she has been talking non-stop about the upcoming show. Her favorite teacher yelled at her as she walked out of his class for the last time to have fun and to not break her collar bone again. I know that is in the back of her mind. This past week she has spent hours riding Russ back and forth on a "special" section of the straight-a-way. She has the spot Russ fell burned into her memory.

Thank you 😊 I'm not as in so much pain now. Good old turmeric and my faithful hot water bottle

It wasn't kale but something similar. I will ask the veg man next time I see him. They completely devoured all of those leaves
So glad you’re feeling better.

I keep forgetting to get a head of cabbage for the kiddos, they sure do enjoy those treats don’t they?

I missed out on Caturday this week. But pusscat insisted he was added today, he was looking out for my chucks this morning and sulking because he didn't want his mashed bandanas (most unusual).

He looks very comfortable there in the sun ❤️

Good luck Rosie!

And remember, it’s not about winning, it’s about having a blast, riding a good horse, and being with friends 💕💕💕

Today was a very special day for me, I got two new chickens, and drove 4 hours for them but it was all worth it🤩
they are of course still very shy and living in our quarantine coop for a couple of weeks. The last time I bought two chickens it unfortunately wasn’t a very nice experience but these chickens already seem to be healthy and come from a good place😊

The little chicks are also enjoying the lovely weather we have been having lately

They have also said hello to the flock and their daddy who surprisingly was very interested in them😄
