Here is a great article on bumblefootOh also: seeing the bumblefoot up there reminded me:
Anyone have any advice on how to deal with getting rid of the bumblefoot? Dominica and a few of the others have it. Going to give them a Epsom foot soak. They will love it as much as the butt cleanings I gave them.
How long should I soak them for?
The other day I found an egg on the ledge where they roostWe have hens that lay every morning before sunrise
Thank you. Here is a great article on bumblefoot

Good luck!
Possibly different concentrationMaybe I got a different version too, if there is stuff that lasts that long, I want some too! Please do let me know what you find and how long it works.
I just re-read the label and instructions.I don't know that it kills them on contact but I've never seen one on any clothing that I sprayed with permethrin. That being said, when I use it I thoroughly drench the clothing with it.
What on earth is that chook doing in the background?I just re-read the label and instructions.
@knoturavggrl - as you and @GregnLety both said, it is a repellent not a kill on contact thing. Which is a shame and also odd because permethrin is what we use to kill mites on our chickens.
However I was correct - it lasts 40 days or five washes.
I think my issue is I ‘lightly sprayed’ - I think I need to drench!

Yuck. Ok. I may have to get my Mom to help with any surgical things. I may be able to do surgery on a tablet but I cannot do it with a chook. Here is a great article on bumblefoot
