It happens! They were so tiny and cute, then they grow up. Next thing we know they’re choosing a college and moving away from home. We just need to remember that we helped them succeed and gave them a great start.

Some how that was a really meaningful post. I'm about to burst into tears from the meaningfulness. (NOT SARCASM- don't worry-) it was pretty meaningful though.

I hope she gets better. Chicks are so cute and lively but so tiny and fragile .

I totally understand- I have so many issues in my flock now that sometimes it feels painful to talk about them. I'm sorry if I was intrusive. I hope you can find it in you to still enjoy the healthy chicks even while worrying for that tiny one.

It wasn't intrusive. I am ready to introduce them now. I will admit that it was not as much fun the first week and each morning I was worried if she would still be alive.

Once I dug a hole for her grave, she started eating! My friend said that maybe digging the hole is like when you are prepared and bring your umbrella, it doesn't rain! Either way, I am really happy to see her improving .

Hello everyone

Would anyone be able to give me a reminder of flea treatment please. I've dusted my girls but I'm getting these little black fly looking things all over me as I pick them up.

These things look more like flies too me to be honest, but maybe @Bob @RoyalChick or @Ponypoor would know better as well as our knowledgeable Alex. These things may well be grass flies or fleas I really don't know. I just don't want them on me or my birds

I have to purchase in the UK of ebay so I'll need to find the names of equivalent products

Zeus (-or Hades-) (Or rather the Anacona to make it simple-) has the biggest comb in the world!! Wattles though, someone needs to challange Pastel. Because I am convinced.

Quack Quack Waddle Waddle--everytime I see a duck its in my head. Like my prego daughter having her 2nd kid and yay its a boy! Now she will have one of each.

Is the ventilation blocked with hardware cloth? Here I would worry about some critter with bad thoughts in its head slipping in!
