I miss my chickie's already. It's been less than a day away from them and I miss them and am worried sick.
Bolt happy to be let out for the first time.

No fair. I'm all locked up and my girls are all out. LISTEN TO ME WHEN I CALL! GO BACK TO THE COOP! There is a butterfly, and it looks scary!!

I hope I get let out more often... this is great.

What was it that Pastel said he was going to? It wasn't Ostrich as I found out the hard way... Aha, Austria!!

I'm so mad at Mom
She didn't let me out when the girls were out all day. Instead I only got a few hours with them the next day. Poor me- this was mea few months ago when my foot wasn't as bad as it is now.

Marvelous! 🥰

Thank you 😊

That looks nasty. I always soak their feet in Epsom. I'll have to get this spray just in case .

@BY Bob . Is there anyway you could pin this link in this thread, it's extremely helpful.

Not that I'm aware of. You could bookmark it though. Do you know how to do that?

Pool set-up day today so I didn’t get any time with chickens at all to get any mugs. I will rectify that tomorrow!

Rat wars quick update: We are monitoring closely after the nest destruction and manual extermination of all we found. So far, they seem to have left.

After we flooded them out we dug down around the coop and buried hardware cloth around it. I have lightly wood chipped for now so I can see when any new tunnel holes open up.

Electric traps are on the way from Amazon. We had a hardware cloth skirt but figured out that they were backing up till they found the edge and digging under from there. Good heavens they are wiley creatures!!
