So now they are all perched in the coop, crops full of cheese balls?
Well, not really, this was this afternoon and I used the cheeseballs to lure them in and gave them a handful to get them to go back into the coop and run area. Nothing to crazy 😜 Now if I let em they would eat the entire container I have no doubt 😂

Will you ever upload all your old videos to Video? Just curious.
Maybe I should use them instead. *gets sucked into youtube by the gVacuum*
Nope. Too much work. There are hundreds of them. For now youtube is storing them for me for free.

That is true. But they require payment to enable sharing only with link. That is why I didn't switch over to them.
That is true. I don't intend to put anything up that I can't take down. I don't believe that I will leave any videos up permanently anywhere any longer.

Those and extreme cheese goldfish crackers are both my last ditch if I need to get them to go somewhere neither has ever failed me.

The bigs are roosted Brownie and the littles are all settled into the red tote I moved from the tent. Refreshed the littles waterer, took a deep breath, and I left them all for the night.
What are cheese balls?

Everytime I come in through the side gate the chickens have been charging towards the gate. I assumed that it was to break out of the yard into the outside world.

The gate

Turns out it was something else they were after.

Everytime I open the gate, these little pipes fall off the vines.

Apparently they are delicious. The chickens swallow them whole. It is a feeding frenzy everytime I open the gate.

I planted this vine years ago because supposedly the blue swallowtail butterfly likes to lay their eggs on the vines. I do not remember what it is called.

Is that early? I am thinking it is, I should have kept better track of my gals, but I think it was 20 weeks-ish.
It is early to me. Sadly that is one appeal for leghorns in the commercial industry. They start laying around 18 weeks. I am gearing up for one day future problems from them. I would have been happier if they had waited a few more weeks, but all the signs were there that the first eggs were coming. I am totally smitten with this group and I am trying to enjoy them to their fullest and not dwell on future potential problems. I did top off the oyster shell dish a couple days ago. I have a feeling these girls will need it.
