Found it. Bear in mind is in a hot, dryish climate. PtR, definitely park it in a shady area.

That’s simple enough to build but would need to be inside a run for protection I think, PtR has coons, and likely foxes to deal with.

Gives me ideas for my run though

These things make me flaming mad! Most people think chickens are worth nothing more than being on dumb plate. I mean we all know how amazing they are! They are not that far from humans! Ugh, I can't stand people like that.

Yeah, my ex was asking me if we would eat any. She said, probably when they stop laying. Ugh! No, at that point, even if I did chose to process them, the meat would be so tough. My girls are layers only and will live out their lives with me in their happy home, laying or not.

Same here! That kill after laying stops method is so popular in "How to raise chicken" books. I hate that method. My dream in all the world is to build a beautiful retirement coop for my beauties.

I'm not even allowed or supposed to be on BYC, because my parents think that I'm dumb and would give y'all super personal information. Luckily my mom let's me, but if my dad found out I was on here, after we had a whole conversation of why I shouldn't, he would kill me.
It is hard not to be on here with people as chicken crazy as me.
