Fireworks are a big topic here, some have more problems with them than others. This past weekend was our Canada Day and of course fireworks - which scare my horses and cause the chickens to be restless in their coop.

tbh fireworks are pretty spooky... The chooks get freaked out and the cats are running around outside. The rabbits sometimes have heart attacks. Why I chose to be an hour away from everyone else.

That's a lovely eagle. We saw lots of them in Alaska. Such pretty, rare birds.

Rare? Not up here they aren’t!

I love when the go to land in a tree and those great awesome wings fold down, they could easily take my big fat Dorothy away!

Looks like the chickens accepted the new nesting boxes that's a relief! I guess I haven't been aware of the daily themes and not abided the themes and only shared what I wanted so tax below 2fer

We did July 1st! I just had a WHOLE. weekend of fireworks starting on Friday night, then Saturday, Sunday and last night!! 4 days of celebration- that is way too much celebration even for me as a Newfoundlander who know what a real party is

I don't think Italy ever needed independence from the British however they were responsible for introducing fireworks to Europe and therefore to North America.
Fireworks were invented by the Chinese and brought to Europe by Marco Polo.

It won't be all coop! Just about 5-6 feet of it. Then it will be storage for food and supplies, then a wall will separate off a large storage room on the other end for general storage; camping supplies, etc.

Still a darn big coop foot the number of birds and it will be insulated!

I suggest at least 8’ - trust me! And also 8’ is a standard building material size for boards etc.

Insulation is a great idea - cool in the summer, warm in the winter.
