The limb survived the night. The rescue crew are here and putting on harnesses.
Their estimate of height of tree is 75-90 and of the broken limb just over 3’ in circumference.
Edited to correct size of limb.

It’s true that Jaffar is blind in his left eye. I have been testing him all morning. Poor guy misses 2 of 3 while pecking at his feed. I’m contacting the veterinary team to have him checked out. After all, he’s my buddy and my family. Yeah he’s cocorico this morning

Yeah. I went a bit nuts building the Chicken Palace, They certainly have enough room even when confined and don't let Bernadette tell you otherwise!

Hello everyone! Been catching up on every ones posts. hugs to all, we all need hugs no matter what. We are expecting triple digit temps for several days- got the lawn mowed, now watering and Calley cat is begging for attention. Since I'm out front here's a pic of Calley- I'll have to get other pics of the chooks later..
