Manny made his first truly aggressive move to me today. We were gone all day and came home to Meanie (for the 2nd time) free ranging her little butt outside of the run. She's not hard to catch as she immediately runs to Manny and gets herself trapped against the run. Turns out that my run, which was never intended to keep predators out, also wasn't keeping that little stinker in! I went to release her into the coop and Mr. Manny decided I needed to be put in my place for daring to touch his lady! He lunged and flapped and never touched me, but he keeps that up and we'll be a ladies-only coop!Well this afternoon I had a bit of a scare counting the older chicks - I was counting as usual, 4 white, 1 grey, 6 black - nope 4 black…
Looked high and low was just freaking out trying to get calm so o could figure out who was missing and those darn cockerels would not stop crowing…..
Oh, ya, right - those 2 little monsters, ok 6 black. Hahaha forgot I had locked them away.

As it stands right now, Mr Penne is heading to freezer camp, he once again attacked my ankle biting it, brat! At least Rico doesn’t attack me! Just the hens.
So Penne will join the freezer camp boys, that leaves Floyd/Martina, and Rico.
I wanted to see what Floyd would do today without his brothers around, he behaved so far.
