Any updates on your cancer?
My mom's best friend has very aggressive cancer. Doctors haven't done enough tests, but they have a very bad feeling.

I'm praying that its not as bad for you though ❤
I have my first appointment at The James Cancer Center on Tuesday Aug 1st. Melanoma can be very serious especially if not caught early. The James is highly regarded and are on the cutting edge as far as treatment options. I am lucky enough to live an hour and half away from them. I will happily make the drive. I should find out more then but will likely need further testing before the full picture is known.

Thank you for checking on me its very much appreciated. I am so sorry for your mom and her friend. Each type of cancer is very different as are the treatments available. I hope she is able to find a good team to help her win the battle.

I am not sure the Princesses are good for my blood pressure.

There was a fox around this morning (saw on camera) and I came to sit in my chair in the Chicken yard and was confronted with this.
Noooooo!!!! Not Piglet.

Of course as I rushed towards her lifeless body I spotted that she was sound asleep.

She was quite good natured about being woken up so abruptly and quickly settled back down.

And comforted herself with a snack.

Am I the only gullible chicken tender that keeps falling for this?
I need a drink to steady my nerves.
@BY Bob suggested an Irish whiskey: Cardhu (looks like the dh is pronounced with a softened "g" sound like goat but gentler)

We brought our sick BR girl home. She isn't improving but she isn't getting worse. We are syringe feeding her. Somedays she is more pert than others. She gets a multivitamin liquid, Baytril, and wet mash twice a day. Along with a electrolyte mix which I will start adding honey to. Her neck is twisted so when we feed her we are careful. Am starting to think she may have wry neck. If she is the same Monday I'm taking her to the vet.

Miserable weather, eh?
Beautiful cat!
The chickens were hilarious - they would run outside when the rain let up a bit, then bolt back inside when it started pelting down. Inside, outside - until I was too fed up to put up with them running out the back door of the barn.

Now they can either go outside the front into their run, or stay in. Everyone is happier it's cooler that is one thing for sure!
