Oh?! You think it's more likely she's sick? Oh no, she just seemed so typically broody. She makes sounds like this:

But I'll get in touch with the vet when they open.

Edit:
Oh and she's been hiding eggs in this little grass nest, too. This is from a few days ago...

Hahahahahahaha oh ya she has it BAD!

Just pop some chicks under her like I did with Sophia 😊

I also feel bad I missed it, like you it has never been an issue before and none are limping. I’m upset with checking them for lice and mites ...and i’ve been less serious checking their feet.

Quoting myself below from my thread on what I did today. My main problem apart from their skittishness is the number of chickens requiring treatment 🙁.
Tomorrow my partner will get a drawing salve and Epsom salts. I will be on my own at home so i’m not sure just what i’ll manage with the leghorns.

@RoyalChick and @Sally PB : forgot to post this photo for you that my partner took a few days ago : an overgreedy honey bee ! We’ll be taking honey from the supers sunday morning. I still have some from last year.

Wow, that is one hardworking bee!

I did it! I gathered all the supplies and took them outside right near the coop so she could still hear her flock.

The supplies:
A gallon of warm water with epson salts
Container for the foot bath
Corn pads, the donut kind
Small strips of vet wrap
Tweezers
Derma Gel

I soaked her foot, tweezed away some of the calloused area, put some gel on, stuck pad on and wrapped it between her toes. The kids fed her worms they dug up afterwards. She didn’t fuss to much even when I tweezed the scab/callous. I will do it again tomorrow. Hopefully I can ease that scab off a tiny bit at time. She was walking well afterwards and seemed to have weathered the ordeal well.

Did a little out in the coop time. Twice Manny got all rapey...twice Eenie escaped unmolested back behind the fence. Saturday we'll do some thorough fortifications for the triplets and her and then it'll be time for her and them to fend for themselves. At 4 weeks old today, they are way past time to be out. I simply have no time til then. I did put a box in the corner, but since Manny never came back in, no one used it. I bet the others will be annoyed, since that's where they puppy pile. Oh well.

One of the triplets, Tres, has developed quite the comb. Uno and Dos have none so far. Does that indicate unfortunate male tendencies? I figured it would be too much to hope for 3 pullets. Or is 4 weeks just too young to tell?

I think I see at least a but of pink in that first photo, if so I would say yes it is likely a boy.
