Good morning friends! out of all my chickens I expected to sell I didn't expect the first one to be a rooster! Today I say goodbye to Maggie the copper maran bantam. He is going to a great breeders who recently lost his original breeding roo to a hawk. He is excited but also a bit confused about going to his new home!

He’s stunning! Make sure to keep in touch with his new home! So sorry that you need to rehome a bunch of your chooks. Make sure that they go to good homes!

Dry dry dry this year - of course guaranteed once I get there it will start pelting down rain.

When I was in Vancouver with Covid at the end of my Alaska trip, the first day was cloudy and awful, but the next day was really nice. Of course though, my family was stuck in the hotel coughing our lungs out. Maybe in a few years we will go to Vancouver again and NOT get Covid.

It FINALLY started raining for about 30 minutes earlier today!!! It hasn't rained in like two months!!!

Now if there was a chook looking at me like that, I would say that that is my chook. Sadly, that is not a chicken and is unfortunately a giraffe and so I would say, no, it is not mine.
