I hear you on all accounts, and as long as she is thriving on the special care you give her I feel she will be fine.IF I had access to an avian vet, they probably could....but I am sure it would be very painful....both to her and my bank account. Like probably 3+K, if surgery on my cat 9 years ago was any indication. Unfortunately, I do not have access to an avian vet, nor do I have the finances atm for that - since hubby and I bought an 'us house' that still needs much work.
It's the same here, in my area there is no such thing as an avian vet. There is hours away by bus, with stuck up cold receptionist's that won't let so much as speak to a vet.
