So, maybe you or @BY Bob or @RoyalChick would know better, but I have heard that CBD is more effective when absorbed directly through the skin and/or a mucus membrane instead of through the digestive tract, as it gets somewhat broken down when taken orally before it gets absorbed into the blood stream. I realize that it would be hard to utilize a CBD oil on a chicken ( unless it was for their feet or ankles) due to all the feathers.

however, do any of you 3 (or others )know anything about the relative efficacy for those routes versus orally? I 'heard' in a short news article or something a few years ago when cannabis became legal in MA - so was before the pandemic, and was A) wondering if it was true (seems reasonable, but who knows:idunno) and B) If so, how would you administer (either topically or in a 'nasal spray' something like that to a chicken?????????:idunno:idunno(note the double confusion on this last part!!!)
Now that makes sense. Or under the tongue maybe?

I read the French used too give treatments through the skin, the wrists I think?

But I can't see how this works on dogs and cats because they don't sweat from their body.

@BY Bob . Please update me if you know any more. I really want to preserve my old lad for as long as possible.
