So much for my abundance of knowledge.

I've tried seeing inside these eggs :(

What can you tell me from these pictures

That there is nothing but a yolk inside them as there should be 😊

You will not see anything of interest in an egg, unless it’s been incubated for about a week.

I candle my eggs every so often to check the shell out, you can see if it’s porous or has cracks. I have yet to see a double yolker though 😊

I can't really do any cleaning without help, because holding her take 1 hand, moving the feathers apart takes the second, and tending the wound takes two more! Husband works til 9 pm tonight, but tomorrow I'll have him help so I can check it out better.
For now I cleaned out the little brooder area that we still have up and put in fresh shavings, sprayed her with the vetericyn, and put her there. Poor little thing barely protested at all.

I know chickens will peck at other chickens wounds. I should isolate her, right?

I really think Manny is not long for the coop. :( Sheba's looking pretty beat up as well, but I couldn't catch her to check her over.
I wrap them in a towel like you would swaddle a baby, start by wrapping around those dealt wings, and if you can wrap the feet if not let the feet and left stretch back so she can’t scratch at you with those vicious claws, then I put them on their side on my lap. Then check them over. I never have help here, no one helps me ever 😟.

Yes keep her isolated, and yes if Manny is beating on the hens then yes he should be rehomed.

Same here.
It's surprising what you manage when necessary

I don't mean to boring but I'm repeating myself now.

This guy I met once went to a market and bought a load of eggs. He checked them all out and got himself a lot of chick's. I was just fascinated

Yes, I know it's the wrong time of year but I'm just trying to grasp a way of learning about this way of getting chick's.

The couple that was going to sell me some leg bars, sold the whole flock to a greedy selfish woman and I was gutted. Maybe it was just as well because of my conditions but something is making me want to get more.

Maybe I've got a split personality 🤔 😕 🙃
