The Bigs wanted to come out and play. The Littles went into the back to hide from the rain.

My youngsters will stay out in the mud and rain, but most of the older ones are wimps! Except my silkies they want to go out in the rain, those I keep inside for sure. Their feathers are not made for wet weather.

Tina made me fall this morning so she had to remain out the back for a couple of hours while I cleaned myself up and tried too heal a little but she was in the grass for a good few hours today.
It was cold but we had a little sun with no rain thankfully

I'm really exhausted, so after making her eat wet layers and cleaning her legs and feet she had to go into the coop. I've just given her more turkey leg meat and I'm pooped.

I just wish she would eat wet food on her own, this is worrying me

Um, Princess I think you meant. Pleas be careful! I just slipped on some juicy poop here - CHIIIIICKEEENS!

I would just give her free choice layer in a feeder - she will eat that on her own.

Are you okay? I hope you didn't hurt yourself.

This is the problem, she isn't eating what I put out for her. The good news is, she isn't molting as much. I've be working on her feet and legs a lot. And they are looking good.

I think she's adapted to not having Tina around. The dog cat and I sat outside with her this afternoon, I took the dog up the road today and my faithful old cat just sat in my doorway keeping his eyes on princess. I'm really proud of this cat.

Ok well back to some barn work for me, I want to finish the HH-B door, put windows in and hang it today. Then I can start getting them used to roosting in there at night.

It’s a glorious day here for November- a real tease for nicer weather - bet it snows this weekend ha!

Mr P grooming himself to look all handsome for the ladies, I will trim his coiffe later today so he can see better.

Yes, I am aware that other countries besides Canada use Zed not Zee.
