Taken the other day, but in saying that he's not going many other places since he has had his new little snug

We've had some serious winds my way and yesterday it rained cats and dogs.

Princess was so depressed, I made sure she had s little time out between winds here. Then washed her feet again before bedtime

Winter is here now, but thankfully as I predicted once the sun came out the snow melted.

The chooks ran out when I opened the door - stopping to make sure no snow, than kept on going haha!

What is wrong with her feet Marie? She is looking so good I thought she must be over her ailments.

Trying to get some more good pics......

Pippa is covering her naked back, finally. Still has a ways to go, though.

Attempting to show size comparisons: storm behind the branches, next to the brick, Chia front right, Cardhu front left, and Cumulo flashing her bloomers (but stopping when I zoomed in for a better shot).

I am worried about Sylvie.
Either the bullying by Piglet was worse than I realized or she has some feather issue.
She is all bald around her neck - it is hard to get a close look but I think she has pin feathers coming in. I hope that is what I am seeing.
She has not returned to laying since she was broody and her comb is not nice and red.
Do you think she has just stopped for the winter maybe?
She is sleeping in the nest box and I am not trying to stop her if that is where she feels safe from the demon Piglet!
The odd thing is I don’t see anyone pecking her during the day - this is all about roosting time.
It makes me sad.
But at the same time I hope that is what is going on and not some weird genetic disease that goes with her weird coloring.
Any words of advice or reassurance from all you more experienced chicken people?

I just love all the beautiful colours, so amazing aren’t they, chickens who knew they came such splendid varieties 💕❤️
