I am glad Liara and kiddo had a nice chat. I find my Princesses to be quite interesting conversationalists when they aren’t actually yelling at me.
Yes! Mine love to talk and they get so excited when kiddo comes out. They even let her pet them! She was telling Liara that she's a pretty chicky bird.
Question is, after all the eggs are done and they stop laying any more, what do we call them now? :idunno
(and don’t say dinner! :rant)
My friend calls them old biddies! She keeps them around to teach the younger ones how to be a good chicken.

I’m hopeful that this next statement is completely false: my girls have stopped laying completely. Because of molt season and winter coming on I guess. Eggs are needed more around the holidays than the rest of the year. Bad timing for shutting down production! :old :th
I miss getting eggs. Bolt hasn’t laid since the beginning of August, she laid for two weeks. She stopped laying, I went out one day, and there was an egg, and when I got the chicks all eggs were gone…
I’m not sure if Eli is laying. Her comb is red but I’m not sure… BBQ and Splotch are both laying, and Willow isn’t. And of course the babies aren’t.

A few weeks ago the babies and Willow were dustbathing in the coop. They’ve gotten even bigger since then

I use GIMP for my photo editing software. It runs on Linux and Windows.
(It is a professional piece of software but completely free. )
Tax needed for your post above because I said so.
(And Empress Josephine was laying a egg at midnight).
