Note to self - refrain from buying alpaca wool items!

Gosh I love the colouring of your chooks.

Alpaca wool makes for great scarves and hats. Socks get too much friction in normal wear.

Oh, those look like a blast to make. You have the same sense of "fun things to do" that I do!

There are more totally wacky patterns on there.....and some fingerless mitts that are incredible too....such as the crochet one with cables running down the area and wrapping around the thumb hole....the cables are different sizes....

Note: as a knitter/crocheter, if you haven't been on ravelry before. Make sure you aren't looking at in during your lunch break. You will get lost for DAAAAYYYYSSSSS!

We have another problem here.
I think it could be a new cat on the block or a stray, but it's a bigger cat than mine and he or she has been insistent on coming into my back garden where princess lives.

She was hysterical when it came back. I feel awful because the thing could just be searching for food but I can't risk it hurting princess. It's a rather large grey and white cat. I'm really worried

Update. Never underestimate my pusscat. He figured out something was up and chased the big cat away before I could stop him ,( I didn't want him hurt) . The cat has scarpered for now. I'm so impressed with my lad.

He's a strange little man. He's normally on the front but somehow he knew there was a problem outside in the back garden and took his position exactly where it was.

Chick update

This morning when I went to check them, both had their heads sticking out from under mum watching everything going on. So cute hahaha.

I put a small tray of chick feed in for them - Henny was very keen to eat it but the chicks just looked at it.

I had a chance to give another quick look, one has fuzzy legs the other doesn’t - and one has one foot with 5 toes. I didn’t have my glasses on so that was all I could really ‘see’.
