I made a suggestion that this rescue put adds out to retired vets to see if they would do the odd battery chicken at designated times.
Good idea.
I have a friend who is a retired vet (doesn't live near me unfortunately) and he volunteers for rescues to do neuter and spay surgeries.

I had never heard of such a thing either but I looked up the one you mentioned - Swagbucks - it seems sort of legit but with a lot of downsides. Taking surveys is apparently the most lucrative thing to do but often you take the survey and then are told you don't qualify for the fee. They also have many things that require you to spend money to get money back.
I would just be very, very, very careful. Don't do anything that requires you to put in a credit card or transfer money.
Also, I don't think they pay you to watch a video you were going to watch anyway - I think they are paying to get hits on particular videos (I am not 100% certain of that). So you may have to watch a lot of stuff you don't want to watch so it could be a monumental waste of your precious time.
Yah that! :goodpost:

I just made a quick meal for myself.
Beaten eggs mushrooms, fresh parsley dried oregano a broken up kale leaf linseed with flaxseeds chia seeds garlic 2 teaspoons of Greek yogurt milk and oats with spices all cooked in a frying pan.

Shared with the cat and dog and it was yummy 😋

Two for Tuesday.
I give you 2 lovely girls still hard at work while many of their peers have taken the winter off.

Blueberry dear, I really wish you would take a break you over achiever. You have been back in production since early January after you raised your brood of October chicks last year.

Goose is good to go for the winter. She has had several breaks this year raising a brood and then a few more broody attempts. She has been back into lay for a few days after a 5 week break where she was determined to brood again.

They look so determined ❤️

It’s raining cats and dogs here today! My own rain gauge says just under four inches in the last 12 hours.
For today’s Twofer Tuesday, I submit this very telling photo (but you’ll have to zoom in to see the Two): Dottie and Becky go out no matter the weather, at least for a short while, and return once properly soaked; they were out as soon as I opened up to the run extension! The other four watched.
