Tiny beige eggs. She is by far the latest to lay of my four pullets that hatched in May, and her eggs are the smallest. Maybe they will become a tad bigger but her hatch sister's have remained the same size.

Of course we do. They are all over the Alps (and the Pyrenees). We call them Aigle royal, which sounds much more majestic than bald !
From Wikipedia: dark green is permanent habitat, light green temporary nesting area, blue wintering.

So where I live is a temporary nesting area for Bald Eagles?!!! Chooks, run for cover!

That makes sense. I was telling hubby last night, I bet if she's been laying 330 days, we've gotten 315 eggs. It's pretty amazing.

Compared to Meanie's eggs they're little, say a store-bought medium to Meanie's large to extra-large. She laid one huge double-yolk this year. She's also given us maybe 4 soft shelled ones, and as I've pointed out they go from medium brown to nearly white. I've given up worrying about that though.

She's so much better not that Manny's gone. Feathers growing back and no longer standing/walking like a penguin. Altogether happier and healthier.
I am so glad that she is doing so much better, and I know it must be bittersweet. Sounds like she is thriving.

Window picture of my ladies scratching for some birdseed. I was very late getting them up due to having a morning appointment in town. They are fine though, filling their bellies and happily sunbathing.

We're very busy and tired here, toddler is trying to completely drop the nap...I am not enthused about this particular life change. Naptime is when I get things done!
Seems all the youngsters are growing up 🥰

You could always do what I did and lock her up.

Oh wait, sorry, that was for the horses 😆 I can lock them away and they don’t call the authorities!

I have Primula laying on the floor in a corner. Last night, I found 2 in the corner between the water brick and the door. I almost stepped on them.
