Not enough rain here today to get a frog wet. Enough cloud cover to keep me on the ground though!

I just got home from town. The engineer at the dam, is letting water out of the lake and into the river. This means that we will be getting rain this week.
Due to last winter’s storms and flooding, everyone is cautious about the weather.

I already got sick. I now have a cough and I have to blow my nose every so often as a keepsake for the next few days.
The chickens think I'm crazy when I blow my nose.

Hope it is a quick one. I got one after my trip - mostly it was done in 24 hours but my cough lasted almost a month. Very annoying.
It wasn't Covid or flu - just some garden variety winter cold.
Feel better soon.

Soooo…. I am NOT gonna catch up on three hundred pages of this thread… I hope everyone is well! Sorry that I’ve not been on here for four-ish weeks. I’ve been busy with school and all of that. I really do hope that everyone is doing just fine, and that your chooks are happy. Ponypoor, how many chicks did you hatch? I scrolled through one page since I left and I saw the little white chick. Is she still alive? Any more siblings?

I’ll try to be on here more. I am looking for some Polishes, but it’s so hard to find them.
