I think you should give the situation time since he’s a good Roland roo, you sympathize with him, you care about him. Try not to get caught up in the day to day moments because things usually change and they work it out over time. But if I wanted to do something I’d think about moving the feeder and making changes so that you can improve the safe spot she seems to want to go into, or give her a better one. Keep it narrow with a low roof so she knows he cannot follow her in there but make it more comfortable to your standards (she’s okay with it, but we know they will put up with a lot). Maybe you could just get more shavings or chopped straw down in there?

Roo not Roland! Also, @Lilion maybe just add a few tunnels here and there, like an old large post box, or two 5-gal buckets with the bottoms cut out and put together, bricks on either side to hold them in place, nice bedding inside. Maybe she'll find more options then.

Don’t over dramatize. Cook the shrimp. By the time it cools down you will have a freezer to put it in.
Same with the beef though if it is steak I would just reference it. If hamburger then cook before freezing.

Bopping around because I'm behind. You or anybody else have a couple coolers? What's going on...Can't you throw some ice on it and be done? It"ll last at least a day. Have a beer, while you're cooking up a nice meal with a portion of it.

Some fluffy butts. Kiddo spoiled the girls this morning with mealworms, birdseed, and dried corn. They were happy to partake!


I accidentally spilled some outside the gate so the braver girls got to creep out for some extras. Liara had to make sure it was safe first, she acts a lot like a roo and protects the others.
Hubby had a tooth pulled yesterday but had to work today, poor guy is probably going to be miserable when he gets home. I'm hoping to send kiddo next door so I can clean the bathrooms and set up a mealworm bin. Between the bearded dragon and the chooks, we'll need it!
