Lovely ladies. Ash (and Samara, at bedtime) have dirty necks and backs now. Maybe from trying to dustbathe, maybe someone is jumping on them. 🤷

Shep making sure the kid wasn't covered in delicious candy...

Now Samara has two goofy feathers sticking out of her tail!

Inspecting the corn. They can finally peck it off the cob, but prefer I remove it and scatter it for them. Spoiled princesses.

I can definitely tell Liara (white head) apart from Kasumi now. Although if the body is hidden away it's hard to tell Kasumi and Ash apart!

Morinth looking dignified as always. She makes the most drawn out "braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" call and it's pretty funny.

Hubby got a cheapy drone a few weeks back, he had lots of fun flying it around. However he has pretty bad ADHD and put it up somewhere safe...and we haven't found it since then. I'll have to ask him about it haha.

Be careful with the cheapy drones. Those will lose connection if they go too far from the controller as they usually use some form of wifi signal that doesn't go far.

Yah, that’s right! Maybe even my time spent as a US Marshal would have been riding a moose 🫎?
I can see them shipping you off to the northern states.

Wow you do have snow don’t you?! Have maybe an inch. And it’s supposed to turn mild again so it will likely melt.

The chooks will be happy this weekend if it’s mild they can be outside doing chicken stuff! And I will do Hooman stuff - go rescue butterscotch when she flies over the fence a dozen times 😁

I've gotten good at dishes. I will see someone drop a spoon in the sink. I then go wash said spoon because it just annoys me to see something that takes 30 seconds to do not done.

Pfft, if you made really good food I'd wash your dishes provided there are seconds and dessert involved.
This food thread needs some tax at this point. You are really off the chicken track.

The bucket has a tight fitting lid, so no moisture escapes. The corrugated cardboard (around sides & I cut a circle to tape to the lid) acts as a slight insulator so the bucket acts as a slow release of heat (plus, it also helps keep the bucket itself clean of poops - I usually cut a back-up circle for the cover/lid so if I use it multiple times - I can swap out the cover instead of bringing a poopy one into the house. The poopy cardboard then goes into the compost pile.) Since the bucket will sit on bedding, you don't need to worry about the bottom of the bucket RE: cardboard. I have used one during below zero F weather, and it did not freeze overnight - so it was still giving off heat (though not much, as the water was cold, but not frozen)
This is very clever. You are an inventive person.
