Not sure how big your enclosure is but I know many of us have obstacles to hide behind, or under, places to get out of the line of sight from the others. The chooks got out today while both kiddos were taking afternoon naps. They’re especially starved for greens at this time of year, so unsurprisingly headed straight for the lawn.
Perry nibbled a few blades here and there, then headed for higher ground. She seemed quite content with her vantage point.

Her One month of being adopted just passed!
I have the luxury of being able to take her integration slowly, but I do wish we would be further along by now. She still spends her days behind a protective fence. I think the real inhibitor is that I don’t have much free time to chaperone visits. And since they’re run-bound, it’s not really a safe space to just let them duke it out and have her flee from the bullies.
I’d welcome advice if anyone has any, in case there’s an approach I hadn’t thought of. Should I post this question on one of the forums?
Something as simple as a board placed for n a roost to hide behind away from others eyesight is great.
