That is Lady Featherington. She is a Jubilee Orpington and came out of her first molt super spotty!

Well not really yet. Pooh has yet to lay an egg even though she has had a nice red comb for months.
Calypso has also not yet laid an egg.
Sylvie and Tassels have both laid a few eggs, but decided months ago not to keep doing so.
Only Piglet (and of course Babs) lays eggs.

Hello everyone!
I hope Gumbo finds a nice home. If not, well it doesn't always work out and you tried.
My kiddo isn't feeling well, woke up with a fever and pukey. Took a long nap and now she's super hungry. She's mad that I'm waiting for her stomach to settle before giving her more pancakes, but I know she needs to wait.
I got three eggs this morning! Two tan and a green.

These were in the box at 9:30 when I got the ladies up (sorry for the delay girls)
Dropped the green but then fed it to the dog. He appreciated it.

Then went out an hour later and there's another brown egg!

I guess I have more laying than I had thought!

My artsy-fartsiness extends to making a bow with the bale twine (So it’s easier to undo ). Ya, I know, no class….

Wait till you put some eggs in your pockets and forget about them, and bend over the fencing to check something, and you feel and hear CRUNCH….. hahahahaha ewww!

I am definitely waiting for it, because I know how clumsy I am!
She had a good nap and then wanted a big lunch. Her fever also broke so I'm wondering if she had a lot of sinus drainage and that made her throw up. I used to have that problem as a kid.

And he looooved the egg! Shell and all!
