I'm not sure if my Brahmas have hit 10lb, but they are heavy. And hate being held.

(I sometimes wonder if bigger hens lay smaller eggs. I'll have to watch for that).

Hmmm...I am seeing a big Tassels type Rooster in @RoyalChick 's future! She needs a 'guardian Roo'!!!

Maybe a cross between a Hamburg and a Jersey Giant (hamburg for the Gumption - like Cheeta, but Jersey Giant for the size......

My Buff O rooster BEN was eleven, possibly twelve or thirteen lbs when he was alive. I really miss that rooster.

Everyone is very very grumpy since the snow started up again. Petunia and Eli-too got into a brawl and Rose broke it up! Then Mr P came marching over and ran the youngsters off, then they started up again - I think Petunia won that match!
